Only a few years before his death, Mrs. Salomon realizes that her father was a Holocaust survivor. He barely talked about his traumatic past. He was a joyful person who taught her how to celebrate every day of life. For many years Mrs. Salomon did not even know about her Jewish roots. Only after his death she starts exploring her heritage and realizes that she never really knew her father. Nevertheless, his trauma influences her life until today.
